Rachel Poles, AA, BA
Since 2003, I have worked with adolescents and teens ages 13-18, which has included high schools, non-profit organizations, and health care settings. I earned my Bachelor’s of Art in Human Services from Chestnut Hill College. As well as an Associates of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Manor College.
In addition to my professional background, I have conducted community outreach and workshops specifically to this target population on topics such as Self-Image, Peer Pressure, Dating/Relationship Violence, and HIV&AIDS prevention. I believe being a professional counselor is not just a title, but my ministry(way of giving back).
My philosophy of counseling lies in the understanding that the adolescent and teen years can be an emotional roller-coaster. My goal is to provide individual counseling sessions in a safe and comfortable environment, that will allow them to express themselves openly and without judgement. In order to help them achieve mental emotional wellness and stability in their ever changing lives.
All counseling services are provided to adolescents and teens ages 13-18 regardless of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, or socio-economic status.
